Part of the Barclays group, Woolwich maintains its own branded high street branches although this will be changing during 2007 as all Woolwich branches are re-branded to Barclays. Note that some branches will also merge meaning some closures which may affect your local branch.

Please also note that existing Woolwich current and savings accounts will be changing to Barclays as well although Barclays state that this is meant to happen seamlessly and without anything required from you, the customer.

Woolwich currently still offer their own range of banking products along with some Barclay products including:

Savings Accounts including instant access, long term, ISA’s and children’s accounts

Credit Cards through Barclaycard

Loans

Insurance products such as travel, home and car insurance through Barclay

Mortgages fixed rate, tracker, offset, first-time buyer, remortgaging, and international mortgages

Customers can access Woolwich’s services by using online and phone banking as well as by visiting their branches throughout the UK.
